Claw leaves in disgust, and Boxer tries to get Claw to come back by offering to give him a different name if he does not like 'Vega'. Bison', Claw became 'Vega' and Boxer became 'Balrog'. According to the film, they originally had the Japanese names but, upon winning a game of poker against the Shadaloo leader and his top ranking assassin, Boxer switched the names as per the conditions of his victory.
The film features interviews with Balrog's father, Greg, Balrog's former trainer, Tim Tashun, Former Shadaloo enforcer and Mad Gear member, Jibril Albacara and the writer of a book about the rise and fall of Shadaloo, Michah Shultz.
It follows Balrog's journey through his childhood, his boxing career, and his involvement with Shadaloo. Set between the events Street Fighter II and Street Fighter IV.
